Grateful Gardeners is opening up the farm for our first ever Dahlia U-Pick event!

Join us for a Unique experience

It is a special experience to witness thousands of Dahlia plants in full bloom at the peak of their productivity on a functioning flower farm. But that is exactly what we are offering this coming Sunday, October 22nd, 2023. For the first time in the history of Grateful Gardeners, we are opening up our dahlia fields to the general public to cut your own bounty of dahlias. You might have purchased our dahlias and flowers at markets or from our wholesale shop, or at the farm itself, but there really is nothing quite like walking through the aisle between two dahlia rows and cutting those magical stems that speak to you. We want to share the enchantment and irresistible allure that we experience every day on this farm. Come join us and we know you will leave happy with a heap of colorful flowers to show off!

One ticket gets you either a $50 glass vase to fill as many dahlias as you can with (around 15-20), or a $150 bucket to fill (around 40-50). Prior to purchasing you can choose your vessel and select a 2 hour time slot to come to the farm for the event.

The Farm is usually pet friendly, please leave yours at home for this event.

Please bring your own garden clippers. Regular scissors will not cut dahlia stems, they are too thick. If you do not own clippers or can’t buy any beforehand, a limited supply will be available for purchase on site ($15).

Parking is available, but the fewer the cars, the better, so if you can ride with a friend or family member please do so.

Upon arrival we invite you to walk serenely through the fields and fill your vase with exquisite blooms of your choice. Additional glass vases and buckets can be purchased if you just need more dahlias!

Please dress appropriately for walking around the farm. Boots or comfortable footwear, and clothing you don’t mind getting dirty are encouraged. Not all terrain is level and most of the fields are not wheelchair or stroller accessible. There is one GotUGo flushable restroom on the farm.

This event will proceed rain or shine. Due to the limited number of dahlias, refunds and exchanges will not be provided for no-shows. All ticket sales are final.

You will be required to sign a liability waiver upon arrival.

Please note that each ticket is only valid for the time frame that is purchased. Ticketed start/end times will not be altered for late arrivals.
